Advanced Search

Advanced Search in Fusion Manage offers a faster, easier, and more precise way to locate specific items or data, especially as your dataset grows over time. Whether you're using the Search interface or the v3 API endpoint (/api/v3/search-results), Advanced Search helps you refine your search using general item properties or apply filters to refine results.

Advanced Search provides two main ways to find items:

• Search Query Language: Create precise queries using operators and syntax

• Filter-based search: Use workspace and classification filters to narrow results

  

Search filters

Workspaces

Filter by workspace to find items associated with a specific workspace, and refine your search further using fields within that workspace. This makes it easier to quickly locate information directly relevant to your work.

Classifications

Filter by classification to find items based on their assigned class, and refine your search using specific classification properties and values. This makes it easier to quickly locate information about items or components.

Classifications promote part reuse, reduce duplication and compliance requirements, and help you manage your inventory more efficiently.
