You can modify both part family and part size properties in a spec.
Modify Part Family Properties
- In the spec sheet, select a part family.
- Click the Part Family Properties tab.
- Expand Part Family Properties.
- In the Material box, enter a material (for example, SS316L).
- In the Iso Symbol SKEY, select an option from the dropdown list or enter a new value.
- Click Save Spec.
Modify Part Family Connection Port Properties
- In the spec sheet, select a part family.
- Click the Part Family Properties tab.
- Expand Part Family Connection Port Properties.
- At the top of the Part Family Connection Port Properties section, click Port 1.
- In the End Type dropdown list, select an option (for example, FL).
- In the Schedule box, enter a value (for example, 80).
- Click Port 2.
- In the End Type dropdown list, select an option (for example, BV).
- In the Schedule box, enter a value (for example,
80).
Note: You can also click All Ports. In the Schedule box, enter a value. The same value is assigned to all ports.
- Click Save Spec.
Modify Part Size Properties
- In the spec sheet, select a part family.
- Click the Part Size Properties tab.
- In the Sizes list, select a size (for example, 4”).
- Expand Part Size Properties.
- In the Weight box, enter a value (for example, 3.6).
- Click Save Spec.
Modify Part Size Connection Port Properties
- In the spec sheet, select a part family.
- Click the Part Size Properties tab.
- Expand Part Size Connection Port Properties.
- In the Sizes list, select a size (for example, 4”).
- Expand Part Size Properties.
- At the top of the Part Family Connection Port Properties section, click Port 1.
- In the Engagement Length box, enter a value (for example, 1).
- Click Port 2.
- In the Engagement Length box, enter a value (for example,
1.5).
Note: You can also click All Ports. In the Engagement Length box, enter a value. The same value is assigned to all ports.
- Click Save Spec.
