Installation Requirements

  • See Autodesk’s Product Support Lifecycle for support information.

  • AutoCAD 2027 including Specialized Toolsets must be installed on a 64-bit version of Windows that is currently supported by Microsoft. If Microsoft ends support for a Windows version, our support for Autodesk products running on that Windows version will also end. Please install the latest Windows updates before installing your Autodesk product.

  • If you also want to install Autodesk ReCap Pro for AutoCAD 2027, you can download and install it from https://www.autodesk.com/products/recap/overview.

  • If it’s not already installed, Microsoft .NET 10 will also be installed with AutoCAD 2027 including Specialized Toolsets. Microsoft .NET 10 also requires a Windows version that’s currently supported by Microsoft.
