Compound Probing Options page (Options Dialog)

Specify the default number of points that must be probed for new compound sequence items.

Note: This page is available only when creating inspections for CNC and Manual machines.

The following options are displayed. These settings have no effect when the items to be measured have a probe path.

Plane

  • Enable-auto-accept items by default — Automatically save your measurements when you have probed the specified number of points for the plane component of each item.
  • Points for plane — Number of points required to measure the plane component of compound items.

2D Items

  • Enable-auto-accept items by default — Automatically save your measurements when you have probed the specified number of points for the 2D item.
  • Points for feature — Number of points required to measure each compound geometric feature.
