Probing Options page (Options Dialog)

Specify the default number of points that must be probed for each type of item when measuring them manually.

The following options are displayed. These settings have no effect when the items to be measured have a probe path.

• Enable-auto-accept items by default — Automatically save your measurements when you have probed the specified number of points for an item.

  If selected, the Auto-accept button is selected in the Feature Probing dialog.

  Note: The Auto-accept enabled check box is available only when creating inspections for CNC and Manual machines.
• Points for feature — Number of points required to measure each probed geometric feature.

  For example, to require six points for each circle item, type 6 in the Points for circle box.
