Integration with the Revit Contextual Analytical Model (What's New in 2025)

As Revit is currently recommended as central to physical and analytical model coordination and its analytical model geometry can be accurate and fully versatile, the nature of the Revit-Robot interoperability was adjusted. A truly bidirectional geometrical exchange is focused on the analytical model and its material and sectional properties.

Revit 2025 release introduced local coordinates system (LCS) setting possibilities. They can be set for analytical members and analytical panels. The new LCS definition is transferred to Robot Structural Analysis model.

Another new feature in Revit is the ability to split analytical members. The loads and boundary conditions assigned to analytical members are also split. Revit to Robot link allows bi-directional transfer of these changes.

Note: Arc-based members and panels are not supported in this version.
