The RC design modules can be activated in the stand-alone mode:
- from the structure type selection list, pressing the RC Elements Design icon
- from the menu, by selecting Design > Provided Reinforcement of RC Elements.
The module for RC elements design can also work on RC elements within the defined structure model. The RC element dimensions, the loads and the calculation results are transferred to the design module. In order to activate the module in such mode, select an RC element or several RC elements or a whole model, and click Design > Provided Reinforcement of RC Elements.
The RC slab design module cannot be activated in the stand-alone mode. You can open it using either of the following 2 ways:
- from the menu, by selecting Design > Provided Reinforcement of RC Elements
- from the layout selection list, choosing the RC slab design layout.
In the RC Elements Design module select an RC element type by clicking one of the following icons from the side toolbar:
RC beam
RC column
foundation
continuous footing
deep beam
RC wall
node.
The tabs specific for the selected RC element type become available then; the first tab is View, the last one is the Calculation note. Dialogs or tables assigned to the selected tab are available at the bottom part of the viewer.
