Stiffening elements

You can stiffen the principal beam-to-beam connection in 2 ways:

  • using stiffeners
  • using seat profiles.

Parameters of stiffeners include:

  • material
  • length
  • thickness
  • parameters of cuts
  • connection type (with the beam / with the principal beam):
    • bolted
    • welded.

Parameters of (upper or lower) seat profiles include:

  • angle section

To select an angle section, click the button on the Angles tab and select an angle section in the Section Selection dialog.

  • material of the angle
  • angle length l s
  • connection type (with the beam / with the principal beam):
    • bolted
    • welded.
  • position of the angle.
