- On the ribbon, click
Raster Tools tab
Insert & Write panel Dialog box launcher (
).
The Raster Design Options dialog box is displayed.
- Click the User Preferences tab.
- Under
Image Detach Options, select one of the following methods:
- Ask Before Detach prompts you to before detaching an image.
- Always Detach automatically detaches an image.
- Never Detach does not detach an image.
- Click
OK to exit the dialog box.
Note: If you select the Never Detach option, you can manually detach an image using the AutoCAD IMAGE command.
