Known Limitations for Insight
Learn about a list of known limitations in Insight.
- Units conversion is not supported for non-simulation Factors and Metrics.
- Changing the value of a Factor in the dropdown is not saved if you are in view mode. To save it, access edit mode and then click Done to save the dashboard.
- Overview dashboard is not editable.
- Only user added Embodied Carbon definitions are editable.
- The processing time for energy and operational carbon data can fluctuate based on the size of your energy analytical model. Even as this information is being loaded, you can configure the embodied carbon analysis, establish new factors, create custom metrics, and custom dashboards. Please note, if the data currently processing is part of a formula you are working on, the preliminary result may temporarily display as zero.
- Simulation factors are available per user. The total number of simulation combinations depends on the number of configured simulation factors and their associated values included in the combination. A maximum of 108 simulation results stored with a model. To obtain additional results, first remove simulations and results from the combination, then add new combinations and run additional simulations. See Simulation for additional information on managing and running simulations.
- Analysis result for Embodied Carbon is only avliable if the Revit language is set to English.
