Learn how to specify the language for the user interface of the extension.
By default, the
Roombook,
Areabook, and
Buildingbook extension tools on the ribbon and applicable dialogs display in the language specified at installation. There are other project standard considerations for the specified language.
- English: The extension starts by default with the English user-interface and the project standard "International Standard".
- German: The extension starts by default with the German user-interface and the project standard "DIN 277 (2016) Standard (Germany)" for Areabook or "VOB Standard (Germany)" for Roombook.
- Russian: The extension starts by default with the Russian user-interface and the project standard "International Standard".
- Portuguese: The extension starts by default with the Portuguese user-interface and the project standard "International Standard".
- French: The extension starts by default with the French user-interface and the project standard "International Standard".
To change the extension language after installation
- Click:

- In the Set UI Language dialog, specify German, English, Russian, Portuguese (Brazil) or French .
- Click OK to change the language or Cancel to close the dialog without making changes.
Note: Language changes only propagate to the specific extension assigned. Other extensions or
Revit tools remain unaffected.
