When you transition from an older release of Revit Cloud Worksharing to a new release, you must upgrade the Autodesk Docs project and its Revit models.
Notes:
- Cloud model upgrade is a project level operation. As a result, only the Autodesk Docs Project administrator can access the Revit Cloud Upgrade function.
- Revit users should not access or edit cloud models in a Autodesk Docs project during the upgrade process.
- Upgrading models can be a time-consuming operation. You should consider completing the steps below during off-hours or overnight when there is decreased activity in Revit.
- If a model in a project fails to upgrade, all models in the project remain in the Revit release prior to upgrade.
- The upgrade process applies only to cloud models (Revit Cloud Worksharing or Cloud Models for Revit). Revit models uploaded through the Autodesk Docs web interface or Desktop Connector are not upgraded.
- Cloud model upgrade is available only for Autodesk Docs-based projects.
- When a project contains more than 2,500 Revit cloud models, the cloud upgrade tool is not available. Shared and consumed models are not counted as cloud models.
To upgrade all cloud models in a project
- Sign in to Autodesk Docs.
- Follow the steps on the Upgrade Revit Cloud Models topic at the Autodesk Docs Help site.
