Edit Rebar Constraints for Spliced Sets

Edit constraints of spliced sets to concrete hosts or other bars.

Spliced rebar sets maintain a connection to each other by using rebar constraints.

When you are editing the constraints of sets in a chain, you are editing the constraints of the entire chain to the concrete host or to other bars.

To edit the end constraint of spliced sets
  1. Select one of the sets.
  2. Click Modify | Structural Rebar Constraints panel (Edit Constraints)
  3. Select the end handle you want to edit.
Note: You can switch the splice position for that end by clicking one of the other positions .
  4. Click on a concrete face and set an offset for that end
  5. Editing the constraints of any of the two connected sets has the same effect.

Bar end constraint for a rebar set in splice chain

  • - edited set in the splice chain.
  • - the current splice position for the bar end handle (middle).
  • - the constraint target for the edited bar end.
  • - the other possible splice positions for the bar end handle (end 1, end 2).

Bar plane constraint for rebar set in splice chain

  • - edited set in the splice chain.
  • - the bar plane handle graphics is shown for the largest diameter bar of all spliced sets.
  • - constraint to the cover.
  • - largest diameter bar of all spliced sets.
