Beginning with Revit 2022 we have removed the mechanism which allowed installed Revit content to be on a shared location and not be modified by the product install from another user or uninstall from any user.
In order to support shared content, we recommend the following procedure.
- Download the desired language content from the Product Updates Page of your Autodesk account.

Extract the Content packs to a shared location.

Remove the Essential and Optional Content from the Revit installation.

Install Revit with the default Content path locations.

Use a custom Revit.ini to set each workstations paths to the shared content. For help, refer to About the Revit.ini file for Installation.
