Change the Default Equality Text Label

Change the default EQ label to custom text.

By default, an EQ label displays above each segment of a multi-segmented dimension line when each segment is equal. You can change the default label from EQ to a different text description for the dimension type. This custom label will display for all equality dimensions created with this dimension type.

To change the default Equality Text label:

1. Select the dimension type you want to customize (either In the Type Selector or by clicking an actual dimension string in the drawing area).
2. On the Properties palette, click Edit Type.
3. In the Type Properties dialog, under Other, for Equality Text, enter the desired text.
4. Click OK.
