Apply constraints to ensure that the building model maintains relationships among elements.
For example, you can specify that a door maintains a certain distance from a wall, that all windows remain equally spaced on a wall, or that 2 collinear walls should stay aligned with each other.
- Apply constraints based on dimensions.
Place a dimension, and lock it in place to apply a constraint.
- Apply constraints based on alignment.
Align elements (such as a wall with a reference line), and lock the alignment to create a constraint.
