Tech Preview: Display Selected Elements as Transparent in Accelerated Views Accelerated Graphics views display transparency for highlighted elements, allowing for better visualization and interaction with your models. Tech Preview: Faster Orbiting in Accelerated 3D Views Performance is improved by an average of 10% when orbiting in Accelerated 3D Views with Crop View on. Set PDF Export in Background as Default Use Export in background as default when you start setting up a new export. Enhanced Rebar Constraints Editing Edit rebar constraints with property adjustments, undo/redo capabilities, and seamless view switching. Dynamo Updates 3.5.2 Dynamo 3.5.2 introduces improvements to the Curve Mapper and Chart nodes. 2026.1 Release Keyboard Shortcuts for Placed View and Sheet Commands You can now use keyboard shortcuts for several contextual commands, available for applicable workflows in views or sheets. Revised Double-Click Options Community idea: The Customize Double-click Settings dialog in Options has been adjusted. In-Canvas Section, Elevation, Callout and View Reference Parameter Editing For compatible parameters, you can now modify single or multiline labels for sections, elevations, callouts, and view reference objects directly in the canvas. View Open Command for Placed Views on Sheets Community idea: You can now open one or more placed views directly from a sheet. Select the desired view or views, right-click, then select Open from the contextual list. Tech Preview: Faster Activation of Accelerated Views Performance was improved by an average of 15% when activating the Accelerated Graphics Tech Preview for the current view. Tech Preview: Improved RAM Consumption for Accelerated Views RAM memory usage was optimized by an average of 10%, improving the responsiveness when working with several accelerated views at once. Automate Load Combinations Structural Engineers are now able to automate the load combinations creation process based on the selected design code. Preview Alignment Planes for Analytical Model Automation Easily visualize the aligned grids and detected references in horizontal planes used by the Physical to Analytical Buildings automation. Improved Analytical Model Automation Experience The Analytical Model Automation now allows for one-click automation with model preselection and customizable settings from the ribbon. Create Walls By Room and By Segment Create new finished architectural walls in a room using a wall segment or within a room's boundaries. Parametric Rebar Cranking Community idea: Easily model cranked rebar in congested areas to prevent clashes. Custom Steel Connections Enhancements Modify connections and object properties of the custom connection template. View to Sheet Positioning & Automated Placement Community idea: Use the Positioning & View panel under the Modify | Viewports to save, revise and manage view positions on a sheet. Coordination Model Enhancements The Coordination model feature has been enhanced including graphical appearance, element visibility, and the ability to locate and view coordination models directly in the Revit canvas. More features Sheet List Schedules Enhancements Community idea: Sheet List Schedules have been enhanced: Browser Organization for Panel Schedules You can now organize Panel Schedules in the Project Browser through sorting, filtering, or grouping. Steel Plate Default Material Newly created steel plates will have a meaningful material automatically assigned when created manually or by a steel connection. Point to Point Steel Modeling Use the new global option in Structural Settings to create steel element geometry starting from the exact start and end click point. Title Block Scale Override Community idea: Define an override value for sheet scale when different scale views are placed on the same sheet. Customize Layer Priority in a Compound Structure Community idea: You can now customize the layer priority independently from the layer function, from the element type level for all multi-layer elements, including walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, slabs, and toposolids. IFC Link Enhancements Performance and accuracy of placement is greatly improved when linking IFC files. Copy/Paste Shape Editing Community idea: Points and lines used to shape-edit elements, toposolids, roofs, or floors can be copied and pasted. Enhanced System Zones Create system zones for analysis by selecting spaces or sketching a boundary. Dynamo Updates 3.4.1 Dynamo 3.4.1 introduces an extension for monitoring graph performance, version compatibility information in Package Manager, PythonNet3 for developers, and more. Show Imported CAD Files in the Manage Links Dialog The Manage Links dialog shows the imported DWG, DXF, DGN, SKP, and AXM CAD formats for both projects and families.
