    Maya requirements for animating in context

    Here are the requirements for artists to start animating in context with Maya:

    • Operating System:
      • Windows 10+ or
      • Linux Rocky 8.x / Rocky 9.x or
      • macOS 13.0+ (Apple Silicon chips only).
    • Maya 2026 or later.
    • An updated version of the Flow desktop service from the Autodesk Accounts Portal (for information on updating, see install and configure).

    Known issues

    Issue Workaround
    Unable to download cut due to an undefined error. Reload the cut from the Flow Media Browser.
