Mandatory PostgreSQL 9.6 Update
Local installations of Flow Production Tracking are no longer offered. This documentation is intended only for those with existing instances of Shotgun Enterprise Docker. Click here for a list of our current offerings.
Later this year, we will be requiring an update to PostgreSQL 9.6 for all local sites as a prerequisite for future releases. We have made this decision in order to push forward on general performance and remove technical constraints imposed by supporting older versions.
The deadline for this update will be August 1st, 2018. All future Shotgun releases after this date will require at least PostgreSQL 9.6, as lower versions will no longer be supported. You’ll see this enforced in SEC, as well, as you will be unable to upgrade to the latest version of Shotgun if PostgreSQL 9.6 is not detected.
If you are not already running 9.6 for all sites, you may either perform the upgrade yourself using these instructions or contact support to schedule a time for us to perform the operation on your behalf.
If you do perform the update yourself, please contact support so that we may update our records with that information.
