If you map a calendar folder to a Vault folder, when you accept or decline the request you may be notified that a mail item has been removed in Outlook, and that it should be removed from the Vault.

To improve system performance after installing the MSG iFilter, visit Enabling Content Indexing for MSG (Microsoft Outlook Email) format in Vault for information on setting up indexing options.

Support for Prior Vault Clients and Add-Ins

The Vault Autodesk Data Management Server (ADMS) supports the current and two releases back clients that match the Vault edition of ADMS.

The Vault ADMS supports the the current and two releases back Add-Ins. You need to install the previous version of Vault Client to use the previous version add-in.

It is not recommended that you administer Vault Settings or Global Settings using a client of a prior release version. Administration of Vault Settings and Global Settings should be done using an ADMS Console or Vault client of the same release as the target Vault server.

New functionality available in Vault 2026 is not available in prior releases of Vault clients and Add-Ins.

Some functionality in a Vault 2026 client may not work when only an older version of the CAD application is installed or if an older version of the CAD application was last run. Installing and running the 2026 version of the CAD application and/or 2026 components (e.g., Inventor View, Trueview, etc.) and retrying the operation may resolve the issue.

Note: The third-party Vault add-in (Server side) must be on the same version as the Vault Server version. For example, with Vault Server 2026, you need to install Vault 2026 add-in for SolidWorks (Server side).
