Install the Vault Thin Client

The Autodesk Vault Thin Client lets users view files in a vault using a web browser.

Installation Notes

The Thin Client is installed automatically with the server installation.

• The following browsers are supported by the 2025 Thin Client:

  • Apple Safari
  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox

• If you are upgrading Thin Client from a previous version and need a reference of the existing web.config file, be sure to back up the original web.config file (located in \Autodesk\Vault Thin Client 20XX folder).

• If you are upgrading Thin Client from a previous version, you must uninstall the previous version before installing the new version.
