Key Terminology
Term | Description |
---|---|
Workshop | The collaborative workspace that streams 3D models and more for collaboration. |
Projects | The top-level of organization for all Workshops and content. Members and data come from ACC. |
Issues | A system for documenting issues in models natively in Autodesk Construction Cloud to allow for clearer visibility and communication about tasks across all AEC stakeholders on a given project. |
Properties | A tool within Workshop XR that can point and click to query any attributes or BIM metadata associated with an object or element in the 3D model that provides additional information such as materials dimensions, or other relevant data. |
Table | The place where the 3D model is located in Scale Model Mode inside of the workshop. |
Scale Model View | Workshop's primary mode; a user first launches into Scale Model View, in which the model appears on the table at smaller than life-size. |
1:1 View | Workshop's other primary mode, allowing users an immersive walk through their model at human scale. |
Smooth Motion | A locomotion method that allows users to navigate the virtual environment by physically moving or using a controller to simulate walking. |
