Click Design > Solid > Modify > Split Body . The Split Body dialog displays.

Click to expand the Modify panel. Select Split Body. Select the body to split .

On the Schematic Design toolbar, click Rework > Split , or on the PCB Design toolbar, click Rework > Split .

Silhouette Split lets you split a selected body at the silhouette outline looking from the view direction.

On the Manufacture workspace toolbar, click Additive > Modify > Split Supports . The Split Supports dialog opens.

Use the Plane Cut tool to trim or split a mesh body with a plane in Fusion.

From the Solid tab, go to the Modify drop down menu, and select Split Body. Select the body as the Body to Split .

Click (Simulation workspace > Simplify Solid tab > Modify panel > Split > Split Body) to open the Split Body dialog.

You can use the following tools to modify a solid body: Press Pull Fillet Chamfer Shell Draft Scale Combine Offset Face Replace Face Split Face Split Body Silhouette Split Align Note: Some tools also appear in the Generative Design, Simulation, and Manufacture workspaces.

A typical use for split faces is to simplify geometry in a hydraulic manifold.

Split Body The Split Body tool divides a surface body into two surface bodies.

Click OK to close the Split Body dialog. Note: Body17 is visible in the Browser.

Use construction planes as the input for other tools, like the cutting tool for the Split Body tool. Use a Midplane as a cutting tool to split a body precisely in half.

Switch between Full and Split view With an item open, click Full View or Split View .
