Vault Installation Overview

Depending on whether you install Vault on a single site or multiple sites, there are different installation and implementation steps.

1. Review the Vault Requirements
Before installing Autodesk Vault, review the Installation, Operation, and System Requirements for your Vault edition.
2. Plan Your Deployment
A Vault implementation can be as simple as installing all components on a single computer, or as complex as installing components on several computers in different locations. The more complex the Implementation, the more information there is to consider. Review Planning Your Deployment to help you determine how best to implement Vault for your work environment.
Note: Learn how to plan, create, and distribute an Autodesk deployment to standardize installation across many computers in the Autodesk Network Administrator's Guide .
