Use sky settings, shadows, measurement options, and themes to analyze your data.
Use options to change the level of detail and lock navigation above the ground. Change sky settings, and use shadow casting to see how the sun and its shadows will affect your model at different times of the year and of the day.
Measure from one point to another to find the length of a feature.
Use Terrain Statistics to measure the area and volume of a stretch of ground that you specify. If you change the elevation of the measured area, for example, for a tunnel, Terrain Statistics will display the volume of that area before and after the change.
Use themes to visually classify features according to default or user-defined attributes. For example, theme roads by number of Lanes Forward or Lanes Backward.
Theme terrain by elevation to compare the heights of different areas. You can tailor the minimum and maximum values to the terrain you are modeling. For example, a flat area might require low values for both minimum and maximum.
