Exercise 11: Edit the Road Style

Use a 3D model as a decoration in a road style and apply the new style

1. Click to open the Style Palette.
2. Click the Road tab.
3. Double-click a style that includes green space, such as the Sidewalk and Greenspace style.

   You can double-click a style to edit it, or click .

4. In the style editor, click Decorations.
5. In the Decoration Editor, for Decoration Target, specify the area for the decoration.

   For example, select Right Bucket > Greenspace.

6. Under Registered Decorations, click .
7. Select 3D Model/Vegetation from the drop-down list.
8. Select the 3D model to use and click OK.
9. If desired, adjust the spacing, position, and height of the model in the Decoration Settings area.
10. Click Close and then click OK to close the dialog boxes.
11. To apply the modified style, drag and drop it onto the target road.
