Exercise 10: Modify the Road

Split the road. Change the hill section to a tunnel.

To split the road

1. Click in the Utility Bar to enter Edit Mode
2. Select the road and right-click on the road where you want to place the tunnel mouth.
3. From the context menu, select Split Feature.

To make the second road segment into a tunnel

1. Select the second segment of the road.
2. Click to open the Style Palette.
3. Click the Road tab on the left side of the Style Palette and select the Street style folder from the drop-down list .
4. Drag and drop the Tunnel style onto the desired road segment.
