On the Data Source Configuration screen, on the Common tab, map properties from the data source to the following:
Type: The profile type of the pipeline (Circle, Ellipse, or Rectangle).
Elevation Offset: Adds an offset (in meters) to every z-coordinate of the geometry (along the z-axis of the whole geometry).
Elevation Offset From/To: Controls the slope of pipes by specifying elevation offsets for their start and end points separately.
Size X/Y: The vertical and horizontal size of the pipe cross-section. For a circular pipe, both values are equal.
Elevation offsets are used in conjunction with the Draping settings on the Source tab. For example, you can specify that the elevation is a negative number to place the pipelines under the ground.
