Import Data

Import from file-based or database sources to create your base model (current real-world features of the areas of interest).

Mapping Properties

The most important aspect of importing content is mapping the original properties of your source data to the properties specified in the model. The more fields you can map your data to, the more accurate your model will be.

Use expressions when necessary. For example, the model has a building property called ROOF_HEIGHT. Your building data may not have a property that directly matches this. Instead, create an expression to accurately measure roof height by multiplying the number of floors by the floor height.
