Nailboard View

Specifies the harness assembly and setup to create or edit a nailboard view.

Access:

In an open drawing, click Place Views tabCreate panelNailboard

View tab

File

The assembly that contains 1 or more harness assemblies to document. Browse to or enter the needed harness assembly.

Nailboard View

The harness assembly to include in the nailboard view. Click the arrow to select a harness assembly from the list.

Member

The iAssembly member to use for the nailboard view. Click the arrow to select a member from the list.

Scale

Sets the scale for the view relative to the harness assembly. Enter the scale in the box or click the arrow to select from a list of commonly used scales.

Show Scale displays or hides the view scale. Select the check box to display the scale. Clear the check box to hide the scale.

Label

Specifies the label text for the view. To change the label, select the label in the box, and then enter the new label.

Show Label displays or hides the view label. Select the check box to display the label. Clear the check box to hide the label.

Sets wires and segments in the nailboard to display as thin lines or actual diameter for initial creation.

Wire Stubs

Sets the fan state and characteristics for initial creation in the nailboard.

Fan In equally distributes wire stubs about the endpoint of the segment, based on the specified angle.

Sorting Direction

Clockwise arranges the wires so that pin names are displayed in ascending order in the clockwise direction.

Counter clockwise arranges the wires so that pin names are displayed in ascending order in the counter clockwise direction.

Angle the total angle to distribute all wires. The angle between wire stubs is calculated based on the number of wire stubs and the angle entered.

Fan Out collapses wire stubs onto each other to form one entity that emerges from the endpoint of the segment.

Appearance

Display as segment displays the collapsed wires using the appearance and diameter of the segment, and the length of the longest wire.

Display as longest wire displays the collapsed wires using the appearance, diameter, and length of the longest wire.
