The configuration of Content Center libraries is saved in Autodesk Inventor project and must be set up for each project separately. If you are a member of a workgroup, an administrator can create a common project, and then share the project file (.ipj) with all team members.
Tip: Configure your project to include only libraries you use. Remove all unused Content Center libraries to reduce the amount of displayed data and to increase performance. (Libraries removed from the project remain in the library location, and can be added to the project later).
Shared libraries on the Vault server:
- If you use the Vault server as the location for Content Center libraries, set up Content Center libraries on the server before you configure libraries in the project. The server administrator uses Autodesk Server Console to create, attach, import, export, detach, copy, and delete Content Center libraries on the Vault server. Additionally, use the console to change a library status. Content Center libraries must be kept in the appropriate partition of the server to be available in the Content Center configuration dialog box.
- You must be logged into the content server to change the library configuration in the Autodesk Inventor project.
