Adds the master runs assembly to a standard Inventor assembly, along with the first run. By default, this assembly is a container for all runs added to the assembly. All commands in the tube and pipe environment are enabled and the pipe run is activated in place.
Access: |
Before starting to create the master runs assembly, the top assembly must be saved. With the top assembly active, do either of the following:
|
Tube & Pipe Runs File Name |
Specifies the unique file name for the tube and pipe runs assembly. The default is <top_assembly>.Tube and Pipe Runs.iam, where <top_assembly> is the top assembly file name in your project work space. |
Location for Tube & Pipe Runs |
Specifies the location for the entire master runs assembly containing all tube and pipe components. Browse to or enter the needed location in your work space. By default, all subsequent pipe runs are structured underneath the master runs assembly in the Model browser. Note: Once determined, you cannot change the location for the master runs assembly at a later time. The location for individual runs and flexible hose assemblies can be specifically determined.
|
Run File Name |
Specifies the unique file name for each pipe run. The default is <top_assembly>.Run<n>.iam, where <top_assembly> is the top assembly file name in your project work space and <n> is the index number that automatically increments to indicate a unique file name. |
Location for Run File |
Specifies the location for an individual run with contained routes, which is also the default location to store flexible hose assemblies in this run. Browse to or enter the needed location in your work space. Note: Location for routes and hose assemblies can be specifically determined upon creation.
