Creates a sketch block from selected geometry.
You can name the block, define the insert point, and provide a description of the block.
Access
Ribbon:
Sketch tab
Layout panel
Create Block
- Geometry

Click Select to pick geometry for the sketch block. You can also preselect geometry and then click Create Block.
- Insert Point

Click Select to pick the sketch block insert point. The default insert point is the centroid of all the geometry within the sketch block.
Select Visibility to display the insert point.
- Block Name
-
Enter a sketch block name, or accept the default.
- Description
-
Enter a description for the sketch block.
