Corner Seam Edit reference

Access

Click the Corner Seam Edit glyph in the graphics window over the corner you wish to modify.

Overlap

Controls the overlap type and gap size for the selected corner seam.

Type

Check box enables flyout command which provides access to overlap types as follows (depending upon the selection of planar or non-planar edges and the type of gap measurement specified):

No Overlap/Symmetric Gap/45 Degree Applies the No Overlap, Symmetric Gap, or 45 Degree overlap type to the selected corner seam.

Overlap Applies the Overlap corner seam type to the selected corner seam.

Reverse Overlap Applies the Reverse Overlap corner seam type to the selected corner seam.

No Seam Applies the No Seam overlap type to the selected corner seam.

Gap Size

Check box enables entry field with access to gap size input options:

GapSize (default field value) Inserts the value of GapSize to the corner seam gap. May include GapSize as an equation variable. Values other than GapSize are accepted.

Measure Inserts a measured value to the gap size input field.

Show Dimensions Allows the selection of a dimension associated with a features to be inserted into the gap size input field.

List Parameters Allows the insertion of a Sheet Metal Parameter name into the gap size input field.

Feature Value Allows the insertion of the “d” variable value into the gap size input field.

Percentage Overlap

Field accepting a value from 0 to 1 indicating a percentage of overlap. Only valid for gap types: Overlap or Reverse Overlap

Measure Inserts a measured value to the percent overlap input field.

Show Dimensions Allows the selection of a dimension associated with a features to be inserted into the percent overlap input field.

List Parameters Allows the insertion of a Sheet Metal Parameter name into the percent overlap input field.

Relief

Controls the relief type and size for the selected corner seam.

Type

check box enables flyout command which provides access to corner relief types as follows:

Round Applies the Round relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Square Applies the Square relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Tear Applies the Tear relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Trim to Bend Applies the Trim to Bend relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Linear Weld Applies the Linear Weld relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Arc Weld Applies the Arc Weld relief type to the selected 2-bend corner.

Intersection Applies the Intersection relief type to the selected 3-bend corner.

No Replacement Applies the No Replacement relief type to the selected 3-bend corner.

Full Round Applies the Full Round relief type to the selected 3-bend corner.

Jacobi Radius Size Reapplies the default Jacobi radius size relief to the selected 3-bend corner.

Note: Type options presented depend upon selection of 2-bend or 3-bend corners.

Relief Size

check box enables value entry field which allows edit of the size of the relief as follows:

CornerReliefSize Unmodified corners defaults to the value of the named parameter: CornerReliefSize.

Measure Available from the Real Value Edit flyout. Use Measure to measure an existing object and use the result as a value in the field.

Show Dimension Available from the Real Value Edit flyout. Use Show Dimensions to display the dimensions of an existing feature and use the result as a value in the field.

List Parameters Available from the Real Value Edit flyout. Use List Parameters to display a list of available parameters and use the result as a value in the field.

Feature Value Available from the Real Value Edit flyout. Use Feature Value to return the relief size of a previously modified corner relief to the value specified for the feature.

Note: The Feature Value option is available during edit only and is not an option during the initial creation of corner features.
