Runner System Wizard

Create the sprue, runner and gate configuration for the multi-cavity model you have been working with.

1. Click (Home tab > Create panel > Geometry) to open the Geometry tab.
2. Click (Geometry tab > Feed System panel > Runner Wizard). The Runner system wizard pane appears.
3. Click Browse in the Sprue section, and confirm the following specifications:

   Sprue type	Cold
   Sprue shape	Circular
   Diameter (1)	8

4. Click Close. The Runner system wizard pane reappears.
5. Click Browse in the Runners section, and confirm the following specifications:

   Runner type	Cold
   Runner shape	Trapezoidal
   Width (1)	4
   Thickness (2)	4
   Angle	15

   Click Close.

6. Click Browse in the Gates section, and confirm the following specifications:

   Gate type	Cold
   Gate shape	Circular tapered
   Start diameter(1)	6
   End diameter (2)	4
   Orientation	Horizontal by length
   Horizontal length	10

   Click Close.

7. Select Block from the Layout drop-down list.
8. Click OK. The feed system has been created.
