Add a result to an existing report

Add an additional result to an existing report.

  1. Click Report, Home tab (Home tab > Reporting panel > Reports) to open the Reports tab.
  2. Click Edit Report, Report tab (Reports tab > Reports panel > Edit Report).

    If there is more than one report in this project, the Select A Project Item dialog appears. Select the tutorial report you want to work with and click OK.

    The Report Generation Wizard dialog is displayed.

  3. Click Next until the Data Selection page is displayed.
  4. Select Temperature at flow front from the Available data list and click Add. The Temperature at flow front result is added to the bottom of the Selected data list.
  5. Click Next. The Report Layout page is displayed.
  6. Select the Temperature at flow front result and move it up the list until it is positioned between the Pressure at end of fill and Fill time results.
  7. Select the Descriptive text checkbox.
  8. Click Edit. The Report Item Description dialog appears.
  9. Add the following text to the end of the Report Item Description text box: The flow front temperature is uniform across the majority of the part. The variation is well within the processing temperature range of the material.
  10. Click OK and Generate.
The report is regenerated with the new result and accompanying note.
