Bubblers and baffles

Bubblers and baffles are sections of cooling channels that divert the coolant flow to areas of the mold that cannot be cooled effectively by normal cooling lines.

Cooling channels are typically drilled through the mold cavity and core. Bubblers and baffles are used to achieve uniform cooling when the part has a complex geometry or it has sections that are too far away from the cooling channels to be cooled effectively.
