Input the Process Settings

In this task, you use the input the process settings and run the analysis.

1. Click (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Process Settings).

   

2. Ensure that the Mold surface temperature is 70° C

3. Ensure that the Melt temperature is 250° C

4. Set the Filling control to Flow rate of 54.2 cm^3/s

5. Click Edit Profile

6. Set the profile 0 - 80%, 5 - 80%

7. Click OK twice.

   The process settings look like the image.

   

8. Click (Home > Analysis > Start Analysis). The analysis takes 10 - 25 minutes to run.

9. When the analysis is finished, click Logs to close the Logs panel.
