As a Revit administrator or BIM manager, you should be aware of the following changes in Autodesk Revit 2014.

-  Revit.ini file changes: - The VSTA section has been renamed to Macro. 
- The DocSecurity setting (in the Macro section) has been renamed to UIDocSecurity. 
- The ExportDwfObjectData and ExportDwfRoomData settings have moved from the Directories section to the Export section of Revit.ini. 
- The following settings have moved from the Directories section to the DirectoriesXXX section, where XXX represents the language, such as ENU or FRA: DefaultTemplate, DataLibraryLocations,FamilyTemplatePath. 
- Settings in the Install section have been documented. 
 
- Revit Server: - Support for Windows Server 2012 and IIS8. 
- Support for .net 4.5 on all supported platforms (including legacy Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2). 
- Replacing a model on Revit Server with a newer version retains the original GUID. 
- Revit Server will detect when disk space on the server is running low and display a warning dialog.
