Select CAD with Fusion to launch Autodesk Inventor Fusion and load the CAD parts from your Autodesk Simulation model. After you edit the model, send the updated model from Fusion to Simulation Mechanical (Home: Simulation: Simulation Mechanical). Non-CAD parts are not transferred from Autodesk Simulation to Fusion. Note: Fusion saves the model in its native DWG format, not in the original format of the CAD model. If the CAD model currently in Simulation Mechanical has the same name and path as a Fusion drawing, Fusion opens the Fusion DWG file.
This command is available only if Fusion is installed on the computer. Fusion 2013 R1 is included with the Simulation Mechanical 2014 installation. For more information, search on Inventor Fusion 2013. |
