Check in Pro/ENGINEER Files

Check in files to save your changes to the vault.

If you are checking in a DWF file, Autodesk recommends that you save and check in all components first. Then save the DWF file and check it in.

1. Load the files into Pro/ENGINEER.
2. Click File > Autodesk Vault > Check In.
3. Optional: In the Check In dialog box, add comments describing changes made to the file.
4. Optional: To keep files checked out so you can keep working on them after you check them in, select Keep Checked Out.
   Note: You can set further options for DWF file generation in the Options and Tools dialog box.
5. Click OK.

   If this is the first time you are checking in these files, you are asked for the target folder.

If you check in files from a directory which is not in the virtual folder path, you have to close and erase the file from Pro/ENGINEER. The Vault add-in for Pro/ENGINEER & Creo will provide prompts for closing and erasing the files and perform all actions needed.
