Revise a File in SolidWorks

Use Revise to create a new revision of a file.

Revise is unavailable if the selected file is not the latest version.

1. In the Vault browser, select the file you want to revise.
2. Click Revise on the Autodesk Vault ribbon, or right-click the selection and select Revise.

   The Revise dialog box opens.

3. Select whether to perform a Primary, Secondary, or Tertiary revision.
4. Optional: Enter any comments about the revision in the Enter Comments box.
