Import two-dimensional line data with level from AutoCAD files. You can not import blocks. Only the geometry is imported.
To import DWG data from other applications:
You can indicate that lineweight represents a particular attribute, such as pipe size. You can also indicate the level of the lines (if applicable) by mapping to an attribute or using an expression.
You can not map a rule directly to an AutoCAD line property. Instead, use a style rule. For example, if you map the Type attribute to lineweight or colour, you can then specify a style that maps to lines of a particular lineweight or colour. See To define style rules.
AutoCAD data is not georeferenced, so you must provide the proper co-ordinate system.
You'll generally get better results if you select Convert Closed Polylines to Polygons.
