When Populate simulates idle motions, it attempts to avoid producing situations where the same motion is performed at the same time by neighboring idlers.
Some actions are better than others at generating unique motion.

Resimulating a single idler cycles through more options than Resimulating multiple idlers does. For a single idler, each time you click Resimulate you see a different initial motion. Repeatedly Resimulating cycles through all reasonable first motions for the idler: You can choose which motion to use. |
