Installation

This help will run through a full Local Installation for users to have individual settings.
  1. Insert the Installation CD, the CD Menu should begin automatically.
  2. Click on Install (Application Name) from the menu to start the installation process.
  3. Click Next after viewing the Welcome page.
  4. Click Next at the ChooseDestination Location page to accept the default installation path for: C:\Autodesk
    5. Note: The default installation path may be changed for Windows XPinstallations. It is not recommended that the installation path is changed for a Windows Vista or Windows 7 installation.
  5. Click Next, the installation will then continue.
  6. A message will appear stating that the Operation has been successful. Click OK.
  7. Click Finish to complete the installation.

For Local installations that require synchronizing to the server, we recommend Echo mode from the following application SyncToy. This will keep a 'copy of' the server installation onto the local PC commonly used for mobile use. Please view the related topic for more information.
