About Styling Feature Classes

Defining styles is a two part process. First create and name the styles and then define rules to apply the styles. Add, remove, and edit styles for each feature class and create a default style for each feature class in the Industry Model Configuration dialog box.

Feature class stylization is consistent with AutoCAD stylization. All properties (with the exception of Hyperlink) in the General section of the AutoCAD Properties palette are included in the Utility Design style. The Symbol Editor and Style Rules provide more powerful and flexible ways to configure stylizations. To display the Properties palette, see To Display the Properties Palette. To create styles for feature classes, see To Create Styles for Feature Classes. To define style rules, see To Define Style Rules.
