To Specify Validation and Resolution Settings

Use the Auto Validate and Auto Resolve buttons on the Home tabAnalysis panel to control the status of the Auto Validate and Auto Resolve operations. These settings are stored with the drawing and can be on or off depending on the validation needs of the drawing.

Use the Validate and Resolve Settings dialog box to manage the settings for the validation and resolution systems. Specify whether automatic validation and automatic resolution are on or off for each type of operation.

1. Click Home tabAnalysis panelangle-arrow.
2. In the Validate And Resolve Settings dialog box, do either or both of the following for each type of operation:
   • Select the Items To Validate checkbox to enable automatic validation.
   • Select the Items To Resolve checkbox to enable automatic resolution.
