After you select a flight of stairs on the Staircase landings and flights of stairs tab of the Staircase dialog and then click Properties, the Flight of stairs properties dialog displays.
Define all necessary dimensions of a flight of stairs in the graphic portion of the dialog. You can also change the number of steps in a flight of stairs.
At the bottom of the dialog:
- Define Steps on bottom and upper level
- First step - if this is selected, the first step in a flight of stairs is generated on the lower level. If this is not selected, the step is not generated on the lower level, and a landing plate or grate on the bottom landing is adequately elongated.
- Last step - if this is selected, the last step in a flight of stairs is generated on the upper level. If this is not selected, the step is not generated on the upper level, and a landing plate or grate on the top landing is adequately elongated.
- Select the icon that defines the type of flight of stairs - select a type with both staircase landings or without a bottom landing (the options are available only for a landing on the 0 level). If you select a flight of stairs without the landing, the landing will not be generated on the 0 level (the length of a flight of stairs is reduced and it starts above the 0 level).
