This option is used to define the geometry and reinforcement of an RC parapet. Select the option from:
- Menu: Reinforcement > Structure elements - reinforcement > Parapet
- Ribbon: ASD - Structure elements > Structure elements - reinforcement > Parapet
- Toolbar: Structure elements - reinforcement > Parapet

- Name of an RC structure element (parapet)
- Number of position
- Number of defined elements (parapets) - this number has an effect on the steel table
- Scheme of a parapet shape; the following types of parapets are available (the number is entered into the Shape edit field):

- Element's (parapet's) length.
Select the Add element option to group the reinforcing bars (or reinforcing wire fabrics) of the parapet reinforcement into an element while generating the formwork / reinforcement of the parapet. The name specified in the Element name field is added on the Model tab of the Object Inspector dialog. The element (the group of reinforcing bars) displays in the Element manager dialog.
Once the type of a parapet shape is selected, parapet dimensions are defined (the number of dimensions depends on the parapet type); a schematic drawing of a parapet is presented in the right-hand part of the dialog.
After completing the definition of parapet dimensions and clicking Next, the Parapet - reinforcement dialog displays.
