Learn how to start the analysis process (linear static).
Note: In this tutorial, we run a linear static analysis. A key strength of Robot is the possibility to define a wide range of analysis types such as linear static, modal, seismic, spectral, harmonic, or time history analyses. For more information about the types of analyses available in Robot, see Analysis Types - Definition.
- Continue working in your project or open the project Frame_3D_Combination.rtd.
Note: The Tutorial files are located in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Examples\Tutorials.
- Click
(Analysis 
Calculations).
The calculation process starts. The Calculations dialog shows the advancement of the process, which depends on the size of the project being analyzed.
- Once the calculations are complete the information: Results (FEM): available is displayed:
- At the top of the program (see image 1 below),
- At the bottom of the program (see image 2 below).
- Save the project as Frame_3D_Analysis.rtd.
